Dominick J. "Dan" Addabbo 84, a resident of Dobbs
Ferry died April 18, 2013. He was born in Queens and was the son of the late
Vito and Antoinette Addabbo. Dan received his Architectural Engineering
Degree from Clemson University and was a consultant for the Port Authority
of NY and NJ at the World Trade Center. He served in The United States Army
during the
Korean War.
Dan was an avid swimmer and enjoyed painting. He
was a volunteer at St. Cabrini Nursing Home and a member of American Legion
Post 1048 in Dobbs Ferry. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in
Dobbs Ferry.
He is survived by his beloved wife Constance,
daughter Stephanie (Timothy) Geary, sons Daniel M. (Laura) and Michael
(Shannon McCormack), sister Lucy (Fred) Melnicki, and grandchild Nicole
Ilona Addabbo. He was predeceased by his daughter Dianne R. Addabbo and
grandson Daniel Augustus Addabbo.
